| To complement our vast
selection of wired microphones, we also have an extensive range
of radio mics, available as individual units or flight cased in
kits of up to 4. Two or more kits can be stacked together, and with careful frequency planning, systems with over 20 microphones in use simultaneously can be achieved.
All of our radio mics can be used with hand-held mics,
or belt-pack transmitters with lapel, head-worn, or dircreet ear-worn mics, or any combination. All systems
use the highest quality microphone capsules. For hand held mics we can offer a choice of dynamic or condenser capsules, and some of the newer AKG systems can also come with the GN15 gooseneck module.
Output is provided on professional balanced XLR connectors,
with most models also offering unbalanced 6.35mm jack output for
maximum connectivity. We stock a number of body pack transmitters
which are suitable for use with guitars, and can also provide clip-on
mics suited to trumpets and other wind instruments.
For theatrical shows or other applications where discreet
microphones are required, we have a range of near-invisible head
worn and lapel microphones which are available in black or flesh
coloured, and lend themselves perfectly to vocal use.
We have a full range of fixed and multi-frequency
VHF and UHF microphones, available with integrated or external aerials in telescopic, paddle and dipole arrangements, with signal boosters and distribution amplifiers available on many
of our multi-unit systems.
